National Day of Prayer Events

On the National Day of Prayer, the YMCA of Coastal Carolina will host two events: the Myrtle Beach Prayer Breakfast and the Georgetown County Prayer Luncheon. The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance, inviting people of all faiths to pray for the nation. Community members from all faiths and backgrounds are invited to attend these events.

Myrtle Beach Prayer Breakfast

  • When: May 2nd at 8 a.m.
  • Where: Claire Chapin Epps Family YMCA
  • Keynote Speaker: First Lieutenant Patrick Cleburne McClary, III, USMC, Retired
  • Hosted by: YMCA of Coastal Carolina and The Chapin Foundation
  • Tickets: $25

Georgetown County Prayer Luncheon

  • When: May 2nd at 8 a.m.
  • Where: Lands End Yacht Club, 444 Marina Drive, Georgetown, SC 29440 
  • Keynote Speaker: The Rev. Dr. Jon Shuler, Servant General of the New Anglican Missionary Society
  • Hosted by: YMCA of Coastal Carolina and Tamsberg Family Foundation
  • Tickets: $25

REMINDER: All 3 YMCA of Coastal Carolina center locations will be closed for a staff training on Sunday, April 21, 2024.

We hope you and your family stayed safe during the storm. We will resume normal operations at all three YMCA of Coastal Carolina center locations at 11 a.m. today. 

  • Thursday, August 31: All three center locations will reopen at 11 a.m.
  • Friday, September 1: All three center locations will be open during normal hours.
 24-hour access will be unavailable to Tidelands Health Georgetown Family YMCA during the times the center is closed but will resume as normal tonight.
