2024 Myrtle Beach Prayer Breakfast

The YMCA of Coastal Carolina and The Chapin Foundation hosted the Myrtle Beach Prayer Breakfast on May 2, 2024 on the National Day of Prayer.

Tangena Mishler performed a beautiful solo.

Three faith leaders provided prayers for the community:

  • A Prayer for Youth Development by Dr. Glenn D. McLellan, Mount Olive AME Church
  • A Prayer for Healthy Living by Rev. Terri Scalzitti, Ocean View Baptist Church
  • A Prayer for Social Responsibility by Rev. Jason Lee, Pastor, St. Philip Lutheran Church

First Lieutenant Patrick Cleburne McClary, III, USMC, Retired was the inspiring keynote speaker.

REMINDER: All 3 YMCA of Coastal Carolina center locations will be closed for a staff training on Sunday, April 21, 2024.

We hope you and your family stayed safe during the storm. We will resume normal operations at all three YMCA of Coastal Carolina center locations at 11 a.m. today. 

  • Thursday, August 31: All three center locations will reopen at 11 a.m.
  • Friday, September 1: All three center locations will be open during normal hours.
 24-hour access will be unavailable to Tidelands Health Georgetown Family YMCA during the times the center is closed but will resume as normal tonight.
