School’s Out Days are an adventure that provides a fun and safe environment for kids when they are out of school. This camp inspired program includes a balance of fun, fitness, recreation, enrichment and creative themed activities while developing the potential of every child.

Out of School Days!

7:30am – 5:30pm

Late Pick-Up fees are $1.00 per minute, per child.

Activities

We engage campers in fun developmentally appropriate activities to keep them physically active, build character, form deeper friendships, and create fond memories. We fill the day with indoor and outdoor group games, sports, teambuilding, crafts, science, swimming, and plenty of time to use their imagination and just play.

All activities are included in the cost of the program. We open the door for campers at 7:30 am. Our main themed program will take place during the hours of 9am-4pm. Aftercare is included and open until 5:30 pm.

Lunch & Snacks

Campers should pack a lunch and water bottle each day. A snack is provided each morning and afternoon.

Other Recommended Items

Swimsuit & Towel: We will plan to swim. All campers will be swim tested on their first day. Lifejackets are available or bring a coast guard approved puddle jumper from home labeled with name (goggles optional).

Outdoor Wear: We will be outside several times throughout the day. Please ensure your child has clothing appropriate for the weather with comfortable active wear that can get dirty and athletic shoes and socks. NO sandals, flip flops, crocs or boots.

Backpack/Bag: Please pack a bag labeled with camper’s first and last name. Siblings should pack separate bags/lunches and be responsible for their own belongings.

Please do not send your child with any additional items or toys from home. Thank you for helping us keep our camp safe by leaving all technology at home.

Registration Information

Registration is on a first-come/first-served basis. Space is limited.

We do need 10-15 children to run our program daily, so please register in advance, otherwise we may have to cancel due to low attendance, if we cancel due to low attendance, we will provide a program credit.

Payments

Deposits: Non-Refundable $10.00 deposit per day registered.

Fees: Members – $45 per day / Non-Members – $70 per day

Spring Break:  $35 per day / Non-Members – $53 per day

Full payment is due, the beginning of each day of all registered sessions. We accept all major credit/debit cards.

Your membership status at the time of the registration and or after, determines the fee for the program. We require a two-week notification for all cancellations.

Financial Assistance is available for all those who qualify

Attendance:
The attendance of each child is recorded daily. Non-attendance does not entitle a participant to a refund. However, tuition payments are on a monthly basis and will remain the same in the event that your child has to miss multiple days. No refunds or adjustments will be granted for partial weeks missed due to illness, vacation, inclement weather or when the YMCA is closed. No refund will be provided if a child is ever suspended or removed from a program. Should an unexpected absence due to serious illness or family emergency occur (example: hospital stay or death in the family), your specific situation will be reviewed by Program Directors and a possible arrangement may be agreed upon. If you know your child will be at absent for some time, please notify us so that we may plan accordingly.

Due to the winter snow and potential weather conditions overnight, in order to keep our members and staff safe, all YMCA of Coastal Carolina center locations will close remained closed on Thursday and open limited hours on Friday. Saturday will resume normal operating hours.

  • Thursday, January 23, 2025: All YMCA of Coastal Carolina centers will remain closed. (This includes 24 hour access at the Tidelands Health Georgetown Family YMCA.) 
  • Friday, January 24, 2025: Centers will be open from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.  Please note services may be limited during this time.
  • Saturday, January 25, 2025: All YMCA of Coastal Carolina centers will resume normal operating hours.

We hope you and your family stayed safe during the storm. We will resume normal operations at all three YMCA of Coastal Carolina center locations at 11 a.m. today. 

  • Thursday, August 31: All three center locations will reopen at 11 a.m.
  • Friday, September 1: All three center locations will be open during normal hours.
 24-hour access will be unavailable to Tidelands Health Georgetown Family YMCA during the times the center is closed but will resume as normal tonight.
