The Y Afterschool program runs Monday-Friday on site at Andrews Elementary from school dismissal time until 6:00pm on all full and half days that school is in session.

Full day “Out of School” day camp programs will be held for an extra fee during staff development days and holidays throughout the year onsite at the Tidelands Health Georgetown Family YMCA. Space is limited.

We reserve 2-3 days at the opening and 2-3 days at the closing of our programs as a transitioning time between the summer and school year for staff training, program planning and site preparation.

The non-refundable registration fee is due at time of registration to hold a spot. Remaining program balances are due on the first day of each month and must be paid by a bank draft set up during the registration process.

Late Fee:

There is a late pick up fee of $1 per minute late per child that will be charged to your account.

CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS, & WITHDRAWLS

A written 30-day notice is required to withdraw your child/ren from participation in the afterschool program session.

Any changes made outside of that window will not be honored and no refunds or credits will be made.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE If economic or other family circumstances prevent your child from participating in our program, please complete the financial assistance application and return it to your local branch by July 15. Financial assistance will be awarded based on program availability, eligibility, and the order applications were received. There is a financial assistance cap of 55%.

FUEL Afterschool is a NEW Y Afterschool program designed for 5th-8th graders on-site at

Tidelands Health Pawleys YMCA -12965, Pawleys Island, SC 29585

Looking for a safe, engaging daily afterschool option for your intermediate and middle schooler? The Y’s Fuel Afterschool Program is the perfect place for students to stay active, build friendships, and have fun. Space is limited! 

What to expect from FUEL Afterschool

Fuel offers a vibrant blend of leadership, character and life skill development with fitness, sports, games, and nutrition to keep young minds and bodies energized and engaged.

Leadership: Our program nurtures future leaders through interactive activities that build confidence and problem solving.

Sports & Fitness: With a focus on fun and fitness, FUEL introduces youth to a variety of sports, helping them develop athletic skills, learn the importance of teamwork, and stay active.

Nutrition: Fuel promotes healthy habits by teaching teens about balanced nutrition and smart food choices. Through hands on food prep activities, they learn how to nourish their bodies with healthy foods and drinks.

Sample Schedule (times may vary)

Participants arrive to the Y by district bus from the school. Please contact the school and make the Y a bus stop for your student.

Y Afterschool Program Fees 2025-2026

Cost:
$35 registration fee

Community Rate: $250 per month

The non-refundable registration fee is due at time of registration to hold a spot. The remaining balances are due on the first day of each month and must be paid by a bank draft set up during the registration process.

Late Fee:

There is a late pick-up fee of $1 per minute late per child that will be charged to your account.

CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS, & WITHDRAWLS

A written 30-day notice is required to withdraw your child/ren from participation in the afterschool program session.

Any changes made outside of that window will not be honored and no refunds or credits will be made.

Flexible Pricing If economic or other family circumstances prevent your child from participating in our program, we offer Income Based pricing. Please complete the application and return it to your local branch by August 15. Financial assistance will be awarded based on program availability, eligibility, and the order applications were received.

The Y Afterschool program runs Monday-Friday on site at St. James Elementary from school dismissal time until 6:00pm on all full and half days that school is in session.

Programs

We reserve 2-3 days at the opening and 2-3 days at the closing of our programs as a transitioning time between the summer and school year for staff training, program planning and site preparation.

Full day “Out of School” day camp programs will be held for an extra fee during HCS staff development days and holidays throughout the year.

We reserve 2 days at the closing of our programs as a transitioning time between the summer and school year for staff training, program planning and site preparation.
