Seniors are a valued part of our YMCA family. The YMCA of Coastal Carolina partners with leading insurance programs to provide free or subsidized memberships to eligible adults through Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement (Medigap) plans.

Your health matters — and through these partnerships, you can enjoy the Y’s facilities, classes, and community programs at no cost to you.

Check with your insurance provider to see if your plan includes Silver&Fit®, Renew Active®, or FitOn Health benefits.

Do I need to bring documentation when I join?

Yes. Please bring your photo ID and your Medicare health card or eligibility letter to verify coverage.

What if my insurance plan doesn’t participate?

You can still join the YMCA! We offer income-based financial assistance to make membership affordable for everyone.

How often do I need to renew my eligibility?

Each calendar year. Bring your updated Medicare documents to the Y in January to renew your coverage.
