The Aquatic Leaders Club is a program for youth ages 12-15 interested in working within the aquatics department as a lifeguard and/or swim instructor by giving them the skills necessary to effectively fulfill the duties of either position and be considered as potential staff member as they come of age. This program helps to give your child real-life work experience in a controlled, fun, learning environment, instilling skills such as: responsibility, work ethic, and leadership.

Lifeguard Development:

This program focuses on:

–Developing swimming skills to meet the prerequisites for a lifeguard certification course

–Introducing you to lifesaving skills and equipment

–Providing you with a real sense of the lifeguard’s job

Swim Instructor Development:

This program focuses on:

–Developing swimming skills to meet the prerequisites for a swim instructor certification course

–Introducing you to swim lesson teaching skills and tools

–Providing you with a real sense of the swim instructor’s job
